"The Grail Diary of Professor Henry Jones, Sr."
I'm Professor Henry Jones, and this diary contains my life's work: The Quest for the Holy Grail!
As you see, in it I took extensive notes from the researches I did over the years of looking for the grail.
I painstakingly copied drawings and descriptions.
Translated ancient texts.
Drew maps and sketches of objects from descriptions and other evidence.
Many churches and cathedrals around the world provided important clues.
Ignore the folded paper in my right hand for now. I'll show it to you in a bit.
Long nights were spent studying, translating and transcribing.
"...Only in the leap from the Lion's Head will he show his worth." My boy realized that the leap was more a leap of faith than a physical one. I was quite proud of him, to tell the truth.
I had used a One Dollar Silver Certificate as a bookmark here. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the ink had leeched into the paper of the facing page! It tured out to be a counterfeit!
Sketches from churches,
rubbings from ancient carvings,
even old architectural plans were important clues in my search!
The stained glass window sketched on the left gave me the final clue to the map that led me to the Canyon of the Crescent Moon.
This was an approximate mpression of the entrance of the Grail Temple outside of Alexandretta.
This is that large, folded paper you noticed earlier. It is a rubbing of the shield of the First Grail Knight.
Here it is in close-up. Though hard to make out, the lettering here was a crucial clue.
